The use of the Symbol PPT 2800, eMbedded Visual Tools (eVC++), and using ADOCE allows applications to be developed that can easily sychronize with both Microsoft Access desktop databases or Microsoft SQL Server.
GraySky Technologies recommends using ADOCE version 3.1 if you plan on writing data to a .CDB file instead of the native ADO data structure.

GraySky Technologies has developed outbound call systems for emergency notification. When a emergency event (accident) requires a person to be notified and given details of the event using text messages our system will IM or call the person and then read the event details to them over the telephone. This technology uses text to speech, audit trails, and an Asterisk server to monitor, call, and record the event. Confirmation of the message is required to stop further messages.
